Dave has offices in Dingwall and Edinburgh (see contact details). 

He has been a member of the Parliament's Justice Committee and Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee  and is currently a member of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee and the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee .

He also sits on Cross Party Groups for Crofting, Gaelic, Scots, Digital Participation, Palliative Care, Nuclear Disarmament, Heart Disease and Stroke and is the Convener of the Cross Party Group on Skin And Associated Rheumatic Conditions.

Dave is a member of Scottish CND, the Church of Scotland, is a life member of An Comunn Gàidhealach and the GMB.

Dave enjoys putting his experience at the service of the people of Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch as their MSP, and will always put his constituents first.
